Soft chai spices, creamy milk, and Manuka Active Honey make this nourishing chia blend. Gently spiced, naturally sweet, and easy to enjoy anytime.
2 cups milk
4 teaspoons chai (or contents of 4 chai teabags)
2 tablespoons (50g) Barnes Naturals Manuka Active Honey MGO 100+
Pinch sea salt
1/3 cup (60g) chia seeds
Make the chai. Combine the milk and chai in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Immediately reduce the heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Set aside to brew and cool. (Cooling to 40oC will ensure that the heat-sensitive bioactive compounds of Manuka Active Honey will be preserved when added).
Combine the ingredients. Strain the chai into a bowl. Stir in the Manuka Active Honey and salt, and then add the chia.
Set the mixture. Pour into four small serving glasses or bowls and chill for 3-4 hours or overnight before serving.
