The Triple Citrus Sparkle combines the tangy flavour of apple cider vinegar (ACV), a burst of natural sweetness from Manuka honey, sparkling water, and a trio of citrus fruits—blood orange, ruby grapefruit, and lemon—along with fresh ginger and a fiery kick of cayenne pepper.
1 Ruby Grapefruit (small)
½ Lemon
1 Blood Orange
1 Tbs Barnes Naturals MGO 1050+ Manuka honey
1 Tbs Barnes Naturals Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Fresh Ginger (grated)
50-100ml Sparkling Water (chilled)
1 pinch Cayenne Pepper (optional)
Himalayan Pink Salt
Prepare the Ingredients — Peel and finely grate the ginger. Cut the grapefruit, lemon, and blood orange in half and juice them. This should make about 200ml of juice depending on the size of the fruit.
Blend — Add the citrus juices, Barnes Naturals Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, grated ginger, cayenne pepper, and Manuka honey to the blender. Blend on high speed until you achieve a smooth consistency.
Prepare the Glass — On a small plate, sprinkle a mix of Himalayan pink salt and cayenne pepper. Rim the edge of the glass with Manuka honey, then dip it into the salt and cayenne pepper mix.
Strain and Serve— Pour the blended mixture through a strainer into the glass over ice. Top up with sparkling mineral water.
